Managing minor conditions
Researchers from Manchester report on the success of a scheme in which a general medical practice transferred more than a third of its workload for 12 minor conditions to local community pharmacists (pp425-428). Another study has found a marked variation in the incidence, presentation and management of nine minor ailments within community pharmacy (pp429-432). News feature (p413).
