Autism and diet
Dietary interventions are increasingly being used to ameliorate the symptoms of autism. A Continuing Education article this week the examines evidence for the efficacy of such interventions and the scientific research on which they are based (p17).

Integrated preregistration training
After evaluating a pilot programme for integrated preregistration training in community and hospital pharmacy, researchers have recommended that the project’s findings would benefit future trainees, the profession and the public (p20).

Professional doctorates
An article this week describes the reshaping of doctoral level learning in the Portsmouth school of pharmacy to provide flexible, part-time, work-based “professional doctorates” (p24).
