The Medicines Partnership is investigating ways in which communication
between patients and health care professionals can be improved so that
patients understand why their medicines are being prescribed and why they
should take them. This week’s front cover picture (by Christopher
Icha) illustrates a news feature (PDF*

and how, with support from the Medicines Partnership, pharmacists with
an interest in concordance can develop their ideas further.

Discussion paper
