Front Cover Picture
This week’s front cover picture (by Christopher Icha) draws attention to the news that
prescription volume is likely to increase dramatically when repeat dispensing is established.
At the Prescription Pricing Authority conference, Nick Scholte, chief executive, PPA, said that
the authority would find it difficult and costly to cope with this increase and emphasised the
need for modernisation of the way in which
prescriptions are written and processed
