in the future
Draft new Royal Charter
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is consulting the membership on a suggested draft new Royal
Charter. The draft is set out in a consultation document published as an eight-page pull-out
section in this week’s Journal (PDF 165K)
Complementary therapies
Our continuing professional development series on pregnancy concludes with an article that discusses
the evidence for the safety and efficacy of some herbal medicines and complementary therapies
used in pregnancy (PDF 75K)
First-episode schizophrenia
An article in this week’s issue looks at the onset, symptoms and outcome of first-episode
schizophrenia. It also discusses guidance from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence
