Need for feedback

From Dr G. B. Drummond, MRPharmS

SIR,—It is heartening to read that one ex-Editor is not merely still alive, but refuses to let his sword sleep in his hand.
Robert Blyth (PJ, August 28, p319) is to be commended for his advocacy of the current arrangements for the branch representatives' meeting. The centre is not necessarily the fount of all knowledge; tributaries of original thought do trickle in from the periphery and, without such feedback, future policy could suffer.
