Bayer Plc is recalling the following batches of Securopen injection: GAEGG1 (5 x 2g vials), GAEGL2 (1 x 5g vial), GAEGL1 (3 x 5g vials infusion packs) and GAEGL3 (3 x 5g vials infusion packs). This is because the company has received three reports of poor solubility and precipitation within two hours of reconstitution of the vials. The complaint vials were from a different batch but were manufactured at the same manufacturing site as these batches. All stock from these batches should be returned to suppliers for credit.
