BPSA undergoes rebranding

The biggest rebranding of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's official student association in 50 years has started after the British Pharmaceutical Association unveiled its new visual image at a reception on Wednesday evening.
The idea of developing a new look for the student association was debated at the BPSA's annual conference at Nottingham earlier this year. This resulted in the BPSA president, vice-president and other BPSA members sporting T-shirts with the new logo at the Cardiff Conference.

"It is a lot more dynamic than the old logo and thus more in line with what the association itself is like," BPSA vice-president Lindsay McClure told The Journal. The logo features a capsule in the BPSA chosen colours of green and blue, which will be used on all stationery and correspondence from now on, while the old logo will remain the official crest for the BPSA.
"We wanted something immediately recognisable so the capsule seemed a perfect choice," explained BPSA president Jonathan Burton.
Both T-shirts and rugby shirts have been produced in the new colours and the photograph shows some of the BPSA committee members modelling the new student fashion look outside the Cardiff International Arena.
