Millennium specials from the BSHP

Mr Hemant Patel The British Society for the History of Pharmacy's millennium celebrations started at Pharmex 99 with visitors being given a chance to buy a limited edition millennium plate featuring Tropaeslum majus (nasturtium), in a design by Mary Bates. Only 600 plates have been produced. And the rush is on, with 52 plates having already been sold. Also on sale was a crystal paperweight and, on its seventh edition, was the BSHP mug. This year's mug shows Calendula officinalis (marigold), which seems to have found favour with Mr Hemant Patel, the Society's Immediate Past-President (pictured above considering his purchase),
