The British Society for the History of Pharmacy's millennium celebrations started at Pharmex 99 with visitors being given a chance to buy a limited edition millennium plate featuring Tropaeslum majus (nasturtium), in a design by Mary Bates. Only 600 plates have been produced. And the rush is on, with 52 plates having already been sold. Also on sale was a crystal paperweight and, on its seventh edition, was the BSHP mug.
