Independent pharmaceutical wholesaler Mawdsley-Brooks & Co Ltd has appointed Mr David Taylor, MRPharmS, as chairman of its board of management.
Mr Taylor retired last year from AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd after 10 years as managing director. He replaces Mawdsley Brooks's former chairman, Mr Jim Salt, who died earlier this year. Mr Taylor has worked in pharmaceutical wholesaling since joining Evans Medical at Bristol as a hospital sales supervisor in 1964.
Mr Ian Brownlee (managing director, Mawdsley-Brooks) said on September 16: "David will be an excellent ambassador for Mawdsleys and we look forward to having the benefit of his wholesaling experience acquired over the past four decades. His extensive knowledge of the management, marketing and business strategy issue which we face will be invaluable to myself, the board and our principal shareholders."
