Dr Joseph Chamberlain, editor of the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, has acted as Conference science secretary for the past nine years and is due to retire from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s employment at Christmas.
Speaking at the Conference banquet (see p503) on September 14, Professor Ray Rowe (Conference Science Chairman) said that on behalf of himself and his eight predecessors he wanted to thank Dr Chamberlain for all his hard work and help and wished him happiness in his retirement.
