The first day of the Conference saw the launch of a new corporate style for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, designed to reflect the modern ethos of the profession. Apart from the colour logo the new corporate style features the words "Helping pharmacists achieve excellence".
"The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has gone through major changes since the old corporate style was designed," the Society’s President, Mrs Christine Glover, said at the launch. She pointed out that the messages coming from the Society through initiatives such as Pharmacy in a New Age were increasingly about quality and innovation.
"The new style reflects the modern ethos of the organisation while retaining a sense of tradition," she added.
The President also made a promise to all members: "Helping pharmacists achieve excellence - these are not just idle words. This is a membership Society and we are here to serve them in whatever way we can."
