Asda cuts prices

The Asda supermarket chain has cut the price of many traditional pharmacy lines.
The cuts are part of the company's "rollback" price cut strategy to reduce prices permanently. As part of the scheme, Asda has introduced on-shelf comparisons with prices charged by Boots the Chemists. Many of the prices are lower than those charged in the United States by Asda's new owner Wal-Mart.
