The College of Pharmacy Practice has started to work towards the creation of a specialist faculty structure.
The faculties will cut across the traditional hospital/community pharmacy divide and will build on established specialist groups within the profession. The college sees the development of faculties as a step towards achieving prescriber status for clearly defined groups with competence in specialised areas of pharmacy practice.
