Myleran (busulphan) 2mg tablets are now available in a new film-coated formulation. Glaxo Wellcome says that the film-coated tablets enable safer manufacture and handling of the cytotoxic agents and will replace the current compression-coated tablets. The new tablets are smaller, making them easier for patients to take, the company says. In addition, the 0.5mg tablet formulation of Myleran will be discontinued once stocks are exhausted.
