Premique Cycle combined tablet

Wyeth has introduced a new combined tablet for its hormone replacement therapy product, Premique Cycle. The new tablet means that women need only take one tablet a day throughout the month instead of two tablets a day for the last 14 days of every month. Each blister strip comprises 14 white tablets (conjugated oestrogen 0.625mg) to be taken from days one to 14 and 14 green tablets (conjugated oestrogens 0.62mg and medroxy-progesterone acetate 10mg) to be taken from days 15 to 28. The 3 x 42 tablet packs will be relaced with the new 3 x 28 tablet packs when current stocks are exhausted. Prices are unchanged, the company says.
