The Conference

Local input?

From Mrs R. O. L. Waters, MRPharmS

SIR,—On behalf of the Society's Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan branch, I would like offer congratulations to the Conference organising team for the success of the 136th British Pharmaceutical conference in Cardiff.
Useful comments for future Conference organisation were made by some delegates, including a perceived lack of local input, especially bearing in mind this was the first time that no organised excursions for accompanying delegates were available. This can easily be rectified by having an information point arranged and staffed by the host branch.
In addition, we feel that the chairperson of the local branch should have a prominent role on formal occasions.

Rosemary Waters
Secretary, Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Branch
