SIR,—How pleased I was to read that Birdsgrove House is to offer a "stress management" weekend (PJ, September 25, p482). However, I then read that the dates referred to are October 16 and 17. Can I assume that these are in 1999 and not 2000? If so, I would suggest that, given many busy (and stressed out) pharmacists do not necessarily read the PJ on receipt, the ability to attend such a weekend at such short notice would be very difficult, if not impossible.
Could I therefore request that, as this is to be the first of similar developments at Birdsgrove House, adequate notice is given of future dates.
