Presentation: Sugar-coated tablets.
Storage and stability: Do not store above 25C.
Action: Contraceptive effect is primarily achieved by inhibition of ovulation and changes in cervical secretion. The tablet also renders the endometrium unreceptive to implantation.
Indications: Oral contraception and the recognised gynaecological indications for such oestrogen-progestogen combinations.
Contraindications: As for other oral combined contraceptives. See SPC. Also, hypersensitivity to any of the components of Femodette.

Overdosage: May cause nausea, vomiting and withdrawal bleeding. No specific antidote. Symptomatic treatment.
