Unichem Ltd, in conjunction with the College of Pharmacy Practice, is holding a pharmacist development training weekend for its pharmacy customers at Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire, on November 5-7.
Unichem says that the training course is aimed at meeting part of the 30-hour obligatory training requirement for pharmacists. Training sessions on November 6 will cover wound care, smoking cessation, asthma, management of diabetes, stroke management, and uses and applications of compression hosiery. A plenary session on "Crossing the boundaries between health and social care" will also be held.
Places on the training weekend cost £100 for pharmacists and £75 for partners. Details are available from Tracey Poulton-King at Soler on 020 7738 2850.
