Pharmacy development groups The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to hold the first conference for pharmacy development groups at its London headquarters on November 15.
Those attending the conference will be able to learn from other groups' experiences, sign up for a pharmacy development group discussion forum on the internet which is to be launched early next year, and discover what can be achieved with a professional development award.
Attendance at the conference, which starts at 10.30am and will finish at 4pm, is free of charge. Funding is available to allow one pharmacist per health authority area to claim a contribution towards locum expenses in order to attend the conference.
