Dangerous remedies?

SIR,—I would like to encourage pharmacists to look afresh at the labels on old, familiar products on their shelves. This could avoid potentially embarrassing confrontations with customers. The following warnings were spotted this week:

What is this noxious substance? It is a bottle of Thornton & Ross Glycerin, Lemon and Honey with Glucose!
This is surely labelling gone mad. I hope that GPs are ready for the influx of people too frightened to self medicate with these traditional remedies.
