The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is holding a two-and-a-half day residential course on "Biotechnology processes: developments, applications and regulatory issues" at the Stakis hotel, York, on November 15 to 17.
The course will cover fermentation technology, mammalian cell culture technology, analytical quality control in antibiotic production, downstream processing, process scale-up, facility design, process and plant validation, gene therapeutics, drug formulation and delivery, public perception of biotechnology, safety in biotechnology and regulatory aspects. The course will consist of lectures, workshops, tutorials and discussions sessions.
The cost of the course is £1,092.75 for members of the Society and £1,128 for non-members, inclusive of two nights accommodation, meals and documentation.
