Astra Pharmaceuticals is recalling Pulmicort (budesonide) Respules 1mg, packs of 20 Respules, batch numbers 206584 (expiry date June, 2001) and 207246 (expiry date August, 2001). The company says that this is because it has discovered typographical errors in the text of the patient information leaflet supplied with these batches. In the title and first three sections of the leaflet the strength of Pulmicort Respules and the content of budesonide have been stated as 0.5mg instead of 1mg.
