NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Section XXVII of the Byelaws that the Council of the Society has approved proposals to alter the Byelaws as hereunder and that it intends to make such alterations after the expiry of 60 days from the date of this notice.
SECTION XXVIII
Add a new paragraph 4 as follows: "If no observations are received by the Secretary upon the said proposal he shall notify the Council in writing, and shall forthwith submit the Byelaw as prepared to the Privy Council for confirmation and approval and report this at the next meeting of the Council."
Renumber current paragraphs 4 and 5 as 5 and 6.

Note: As the Council now only meets every other month, the submission of Byelaw amendments to the Privy Council can be delayed. The Council feels that this amendment is necessary to avoid this delay.
