The size and colour of the Amias (candesartan cilexetil) 16mg tablet from Astra Zeneca has changed. The new tablet is smaller, with a diameter of 7mm and thickness of 3mm, and the colour has changed from white to light pink. It contains the colouring agent iron oxide red E172. Other excipients remain unchanged.
