Ranbaxy (Ireland) Ltd is recalling the following batches of diclofenac sodium 50mg tablets: 7781, 7784, 7874 and 7887 (expiry date April 2000, pack size 100). The company says that this is because stability testing has revealed a breakdown of the enteric coating of the tablets. Stock of these batches should be withdrawn from use and returned to the supplier for credit.
