Numark has introduced a home cholesterol test kit, for the detection of elevated blood cholesterol levels. A finger-prick test indicates cholesterol levels by colour matching a test area with the colour card provided. The test determines whether the patient is in a "desirable", "borderline-high" or "high" category, and the enclosed leaflet advises the patient accordingly. The kit is available to Numark members (retail price, £6.99).
