Methadone prescriptions It has come to light that there was an error in the article "Pharmacy practice research at the National Addiction Centre" by Janie Sheridan (PJ, November 7, 1998, pp752-4). In the fourth paragraph of the article, it should state that "there has been an increase in the number of prescription items dispensed in the community for methadone hydrochloride from 490,500 in 1991 to 1,076,100 in 1996". The related data contained in Table 1 are correct.
