Parke-Davis has revised the summary of product characteristics for Lipitor (atorvastatin) tablets. Based on data from 24 completed trials, Lipitor is now additionally licensed to raise HDL-cholesterol and lower the LDL/HDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratios.
