A large number of medication doses were not recorded as being administered or omitted, according to a study by Ms JOANNE STABLER (Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glaxo-Wellcome poster winner). In a number of instances it was impossible to tell if important medication had been given. Correct recording of omissions had improved following a nurse education programme.
