Wyeth Laboratories has revised the summaries of product characteristics for both Zoton (lansoprazole) capsules and suspension. For the eradication of Helicobacter pylori, the clarithromycin dosage for triple therapy with lansoprazole and metronidazole has been extended to 250-500mg twice daily. In addition, the instructions for use/handling of Zoton suspension have been revised. To constitute the suspension the granules should be added to two tablespoons (30ml) of water.
