The Society's information centre has just published the sixth title in its series of bibliographies. Entitled "Over-the-counter (OTC) treatment of common ailments", this latest bibliography covers 18 minor ailments and lists journal references that provide further information on each one. The references have been compiled from the Society's e-PIC database and many include an abstract.
Mr Roy Allcorn (head of the Society's information centre) says that pharmacists using the new title will be able to locate source articles for learning more about OTC treatment options for such minor ailments as colds, headache, oral disease, allergy, diarrhoea, parasites and irritable bowel syndrome.
The bibliography is available from the Information Centre, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7JN, at a cost of £7.50 for Society members (£15 to non-members.) Purchasers should sent payment with their order.
