Ranbaxy (Ireland) Ltd is recalling all batches of diclofenac sodium 25mg and 50mg tablets. The company says that this is because further stability testing has revealed that the enteric coating on tablets in all batches of both strengths of the product may be subject to breakdown. This general recall is in addition to previous recalls of specific batches of the 50mg tablets in February and October. All stock of these products should be withdrawn from use and returned to the supplier for credit.
