Dominion Pharma anticipates being out-of-stock of Neo-Cortef (hydrocortisone and neomycin) eye/ear 1.5 per cent drops 10ml and ointment 3.9g for at least three months from January 2000.
The company says that there have been problems with the manufacturer of one of the raw materials and it will take time to identify an alternative source. A small emergency supply of both will be held for those patients who cannot be prescribed an alternative product, says the company.
