Fresenius Kabi is recalling Vamin 9 Glucose solution for infusion, 1 litre, batch number 96707A01. The company says that this is because the label incorrectly states the potassium content as 25mmol/L and the magnesium content as 4mmol/L. It should state potassium 20mmol/L and magnesium 1.5mmol/L.
Stock of this batch should be quarantined and returned to the supplier for credit or replacement.
