Hospital pharmacy

Simple explanation

From Mr C. J. Cairns, FRPharmS

SIR,—It is hardly dignified to respond to Mr Jenkins's letter of November 27 (p858) with all its inaccuracies and misconceptions. However, unless he has never worked in any kind of pharmacy, he will know that the wait for a prescription is rarely determined by the actual time it takes to dispense it but by the number of prescriptions in the queue before it.
I hope that we have seen the last of this correspondence.
