Busy political week for SPGC

The Scottish Pharmaceutical General Council has had a busy week of contacts with the Scottish Health Minister (Ms Susan Deacon) and members of the Scottish Parliament.
Mr George Romanes (chairman, SPGC) told The Journal on December 6 that he had a very positive meeting with the Minister on November 29.
Subsequently, on December 1, the SPGC held a reception for MSPs at Edinburgh's Signet Library.
Members of the SPGC's standing committee took the opportunity to discuss with MSPs a wide range of topics, including the provision of consulting areas in pharmacies, the Government's strategy on sexual health and the provision of pharmaceutical services in socially deprived areas.
