New fellows In the information supplied to The Journal last week (p894) about new fellows of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Mr Bill Scott was wrongly described as chairman, rather than past-chairman, of the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists local branch and of Lothian area pharmaceutical committee.
Guild honorary awards In last week's article on awards made to senior members of the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists (p887), Miss Joan Greenleaf and Mr Bill Brookes should have been referred to as being the existing honorary vice-presidents. In addition, Mr Brookes was presented with his certificate of honorary vice-presidency not honorary membership.
Continuing education Reference 1 in the continuing education article "The menopause: (3) hormone replacement therapy in the longer term" (PJ, November 27, p862-7) was incorrectly given as Lancet 1997;389:753. It should read Nature 1997;389:753.
