Fresenius Kabi Ltd has added Fresenius Reconovan, a 1kcal/ml nutritionally complete tube feed containing glutamine, arginine and omega-3 fatty acids, to its range of enteral nutrition products. The company says that the product is formulated to meet the specific needs of patients after major surgery, trauma, burns, sepsis and other critical illnesses (net price, 500ml £4.90).
