From January 1, Goldshield Pharmaceuticals will be phasing out its 100 and 500 packs of Marevan (warfarin) 1, 3 and 5mg tablets and replacing them with patient packs of 28 tablets (net price, 28 1mg £1.15, 3mg £1.70, 5mg £2.76). The 100 and 1,000 packs of Eltroxin (thyroxine) 50 and 100μg tablets will also be phased out and replaced with 28-tablet patient packs (net price, 28 50μg £1.10, 100μg £1.20).
