European Community directives on medicines for human are to be consolidated into a single document.
The Council of Ministers proposed the consolidation in June last year, and the European Parliament's Economic and Social Committee has approved the idea, provided that no amendments to the various directives are made.
The consolidated directive is currently being considered by the European Parliament
