From Mr B. J. Brandon, MRPharmS
SIR,—I feel that my friend and colleague Brian Stroh is wrong in suggesting that those pharmacists who wish to diagnose and prescribe should study to become doctors (PJ, January 8, p55). My belief is that the profession should be finding ways to make it possible to have at least two pharmacists per pharmacy so that one can have the time to consult with the patient without normal business pressure distracting his or her attention, assuming they have the correct qualifications and ability.
