The Society's resident caretaker (Mr Allen Holmes) and his wife Judith are pictured with the Society's Secretary and Registrar (Miss Ann Lewis, right). Mr Holmes retired on January 14, after 10 years with the Society. His wife, who undertook secretarial work with the Society, has also retired. Mr Denis Argent (the Society's director of resources) thanked Mr Holmes for everything that he had done for the Society. Mr Holmes said that being caretaker had been more than just a job. He had grown to love the place.
