Patients can now access an electronic version of the ABPI compendium of data sheets and summaries of product characteristics (PJ, October 23, p667).
During 2000, the eMC will become available through general medical practitioner prescribing systems and hospital and pharmacy information systems. A CD-ROM is planned for those without internet access. The eMC can be accessed at www.emc.vhn.net.
