Mr Jonathan Buisson, MRPharmS, has been promoted to senior staff editor on The Pharmaceutical Journal. In addition to working on The Journal, he also works as managing editor of The Industrial Pharmacist and The Agricultural and Veterinary Pharmacist. Miss Frances Thompson, MRPharmS, has been appointed as managing editor of Primary Care Pharmacy in addition to her work on The Journal as senior staff editor. Dr Harriet Adcock, MRPharmS, has joined The Journal as senior staff editor. She is also editor of The Pharmacy Assistant.
Mr Malcolm Brown, MRPharmS, of Beccles, Suffolk, has been awarded a doctor of philosophy degree by the University of East Anglia. His thesis was entitled "The sociology of pharmacy: an ethnography of community pharmacists, their medicines and other artefacts".
