This site, made available by the United States National Institutes of Health, gives free access to MEDLINE, which seems to include virtually all papers published world-wide in medical journals going back for many years. Many papers have the abstract attached and in some cases the full paper is available for downloading. There is also a facility for ordering copies of papers. This site is superb and is ideal for those colleagues who do not have ready access to a medical library but nevertheless need to search for published papers. Five stars is not enough!
