From Mr A. G. M. Madge, FRPharmS
SIR,—The welcome comprehensive exposition of the major trial of medicines management (PJ, January 29, p187) and your editorial (p167) now give, among other matters, a sense of purpose and direction to the profession. It is something concrete on which to build respect for the future. Much interest will await the result of the trial and the conclusions and deliberations drawn therefrom. Pharmacy, in the interests of patients, will have a distinctive role as a well recognised member of the health team and not of a suppliant and ancillary nature.
