Keith Jenkins

Keith Jenkins

Mr Keith Jenkins, a former member of the Pharmaceutical Society's Council, died on January 31, aged 82 years. Mr Jenkins, of 29 Water Meadow Way, Wendover, Buckinghamshire HP22 6RS, registered in 1939 and retired from the register in 1997. He served on the Society's Council from 1964 to 1967.
Mr Jenkins was a representative of Parke, Davis & Co from 1939 to 1942. He then saw war service in the Royal Army Medical Corps, in charge of dispensaries and medical stores in India, from 1942 to 1947. From 1947 to 1949, he was resident pharmacist in charge of emergency service at Allen & Hanburys Ltd, Vere Street, London. From 1950, Mr Jenkins had managed and owned community pharmacies in Kent, Hertfordshire and Norfolk. He retired in 1983.
As well as serving on the Society's Council, Mr Jenkins was a former chairman and secretary of the Society's West Hertfordshire branch, a former chairman of its Folkestone branch and served on the committee of the Watford and West Hertfordshire branch of the National Pharmaceutical Union.

Collison

On December 28, 1999, Raymond William Collison, FRPharmS, of 10 Mill Gardens, East Wittering, Chichester, West Sussex PO20 8PR. Mr Collison registered in 1937.

Crozy

On November 29, 1999, Margaret Brook Crozy, FRPharmS, of 4 Mallory Avenue, Caversham Park Village, Reading, Berkshire RG4 6QN. Mrs Crozy registered in 1947.

Elliot

On December 18, 1999, Rita Victoria Elliot (née Dixon), of Parklands Nursing Home, Wheal Kitty Lane, St Agnes, Cornwall. Mrs Elliot registered in 1936 and retired from the register in 1957.

Hembry

On December 24, 1999, Raymond John Hembry, of 11 Boverton Avenue, Brockworth, Gloucester GL3 4JQ. Mr Hembry registered in 1935 and retired from the register in 1979.

Iles

On January 17, Gilbert Henry Iles, MRPharmS, of 49 Park Farm, The Street, Moredon, Swindon, Wiltshire. Mr Iles registered in 1929.

Macfarlane

On December 7, 1999, Christina Mackay Macfarlane (née Elphinstone), of Abbotsleigh Manor Nursing Home, Manor Road, Abbots Leigh, North Somerset. Mrs Macfarlane registered in 1933 and retired from the register in 1952.
