Society to offer branches their own pages on new-look website
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to offer its branches their own pages on its internet website following a relaunch late this summer. Features planned for the new site include a "members only" section which will include branch information and membership news. The Society plans to allocate each branch the space to build its own web pages, to be used for announcing events and for providing contact details and other relevant information. Style templates will be supplied, so that the branch pages are clearly part of the overall site.
The main objective of the website's redesign and extension is to make it an important part of the Society's communications strategy with both the membership and the public.
The Society has identified five aims for the new site:

The Society has appointed a website designer to produce design templates for the new-look site. The site is already being managed by a full-time website editor (Mrs Mary Snell, MRPharmS), with support from a technical consultant (Mr Clive Hemingway).
